Our shop is also able to cut clay brick, as well as natural and manufactured stone into veneer. Our customers include homeowners, masonry contractors, and architects, whom we work with to execute their design requirements.

We are currently hiring for the position of saw shop project co-ordinator. The project co-ordinator works alongside the saw shop manager and other drafters. Their role is primarily to oversee projects within the saw shop, create quotes for customers, and draft shop drawings.

- Provide post-project completion assistance and service to customers as required.

Shop Drawings:

- Crafting shop drawings using CAD and by hand when necessary.

- Programming the saw shop CNC machinery and performing simple maintenance.

- Creating shop tickets which break down information for the saw shop staff to understand.

- Correctly judging how much time and detail to commit to a drawing, in order to convey strictly necessary information without extra flourish.

- Meticulous ability to review shop drawing, in order to prevent contradictions, eliminate duplicate information and add missing information. Drawings must also be reviewed for their ability to be carried out in a realistic manner, their cost-effectiveness, and their adherence to the original quote.

- Balancing artistic, mathematical, and engineering elements and understanding the importance of all three; creating beautiful and practical items which fit within budget.

- In-depth knowledge of stone design techniques, including profiles, proportions, structural integrity, balance, joint positioning, and overall aesthetics for various styles from classic to modern.

- Following our company-defined tolerances and design principles, and adhering to the saw shop’s standard of quality.

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, specifically in CNC programming, in order to avoid damage to the PCD tool, machine, and stone wastage.

- Personal oversight and in-depth knowledge of what is required for your own jobs.
