(One-year contract)
Keeping Ontario’s Legislative Assembly running smoothly takes many talented people, doing many different jobs—from camera operators and committee clerks, to purchasing officers and researchers. The Office of the Assembly is mandated to provide non-partisan support to the Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs).
Together, we provide administrative and procedural services to all MPPs, as well as operational support for the daily activities of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The Legislative Assembly of Ontario seeks a Project Manager who, as part of our Precinct Properties Branch, in Toronto, ON, will oversee the design, construction and conservation processes of the Legislative Assembly Building and grounds at Queen’s Park.
What You’ll Do
You’ll act with integrity to:
- Work collaboratively with internal clients and external contacts
- Demonstrate sound judgement, tact, discretion and sensitivity to the political environment, as well the ability to work quickly and under pressure
You’ll support our community as you:
- Coordinate all phases and activities of major repair, retrofit projects and alterations
- Provide advisory services to clients and staff to establish project scope and objectives
- Coordinate the development of project implementation plans and critical target dates
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of overall project objectives
- Assist the Senior Project Management Consultant on more complex capital projects
How You Qualify
You demonstrate excellence through your:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field such as Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design
- Exceptional technical knowledge of building construction and details, the Ontario Building Code,
- and building science
- Ability to supervise production of a number of projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead and work within a team environment
- Ability to coordinate with a multi-disciplinary consultant team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary Range Minimum: $64,425 per annum
