OCA Architects is location in the west end of Toronto at the intersection of 427 and 401.

We are a mid-size firm that produces a large volume work and we are seeking a 2 good spirited individuals with a professional attitude to compliment and grow with us.   We are highway accessible and provide parking.

We are looking for:

Junior Technologist/Student Work Term to assist with production of working drawings.

• Registered in Recognized College Degree for Technologist.
• Minimum of 1 year Canadian office experience.
• Capable and willing to work under Job Captains/Architects
• Personable with an ability and desire to work within a team
• Fluent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• 3D qualifications with Sketch-up, & Adobe Photoshop are an asset
• Bright and willing to learn.

AND

Recent Architect Graduate/Intermediate Technologist in the Architectural Discipline with the following Qualifications/Responsibilities/Skills to assist with the production of working drawings.

• Graduate of recognized Architectural Technology Degree, Architectural Degree or currently within Syllabus program or registered within a program
• Minimum of 5 years Canadian office experience.
• Knowledge of building technology, construction detailing and working drawing production.
• Capable and willing to work under Job Captains/Architects
• Personable with an ability and desire to work within a team
• Fluent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code an asset
• Experience with Zoning and SPA and asset
• 3D qualifications with Sketch-up, & Adobe Photoshop as asset
• Willing to work on multiple projects
• Knowledge of Shop Drawing Review, Contract Admin documents (Change Orders, Site Instructions, Addendums)
• Drivers Licence and willing to perform site visits.
